In 2007, the Richmond Art Museum hosted my first museum show -
“Douglas David Paints His Favorites.”
My book of the same title celebrated and marked that milestone
in my journey as a full-time artist, with a look at where
I’d been and a glimpse of where I was headed.
It’s a grand journey that still continues.
